Sloped Commercial Roofing
For sloped roofs of businesses, our team installs either asphalt shingles or metal shingles or profiles from Ideal Roofing (Wakefield bridge models) and Vic West.
Metal shingles and panels last 60 years or more with minimal maintenance. They resist corrosion, UV rays, mold, and discoloration. An annual inspection by a roofer will ensure that the roof's equipment seals are checked to prevent water infiltration.
In our team, we have experienced sheet metal roofers who can custom cut and install metal panels to cover your sloped commercial roof. These panels are either pre-painted steel or Galvalume steel (zinc/aluminum alloy), according to the customer's choice. Our sheet metal roofers can also fabricate custom flashings, snow stops, and moldings. Our team can also install metal profiles from manufacturers such as Duchesne, Metal Sartigan, MAC, and Vic West.
We install asphalt shingles from brands IKO and BP, for which we are certified roofers. Your BP shingles will be covered by the 50-year Weather Tite warranty if you choose the Mystique, Manoir, Everest, or Vangard model. To choose your model and color of asphalt shingles, visit the BP manufacturer's website or IKO manufacturer's website. The latter offers several architectural asphalt shingle models.
Before laying the waterproof underlayment, our roofers ensure that your roof is covered with plywood that is not rotten or damaged, and that your attic is well-ventilated. Poor ventilation can lead to long-term condensation and rot.
Commercial Flat Roofs
To effectively cover commercial flat roofs (or roofs with very low slope), we offer elastomeric membrane. We install elastomeric membranes from Soprema or IKO. We are certified roofers by both manufacturers.
The elastomeric membrane consists of two layers: an adhesive underlayment membrane of SBS polymer-modified bitumen and a finishing membrane also of SBS polymer-modified bitumen. Between these two membranes, a robust non-woven polyester reinforcement is installed. Both membranes are purchased in rolls, and the top layer must be heated with a torch to fuse it to the underlayment.
Thus, the thick and elastic membrane penetrates into all the corners of the flat roof and has no joints through which water could infiltrate. The top layer is covered with granules (available in different colors), which protect it from the weather.
